Getting around
The houses listed here are in streets around the edge of the city centre, so most days you can walk to lectures and into town. UCA Canterbury is on New Dover Road. For the University of Kent, the Uni1 bus runs from Canterbury bus station past Canterbury East station, Westgate Towers and St Dunstan’s to the campus, about every 10 minutes on weekdays.
Both of the city’s stations are close by. Canterbury West has a high-speed train every hour to London St Pancras in less than an hour, and Canterbury East has two trains an hour to London Victoria.
Shops nearby
There are Sainsbury’s Local shops on the High Street and on Old Dover Road, as well as everything else the city centre has to offer. Canterbury Cathedral, part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is right in the middle of town.
