How will viewings work this year?
[/nectar_highlighted_text][vc_column_text]We understand that things are different this year. With the coronavirus pandemic still ongoing and with cases on the rise, we’ve changed the way we’re doing things this year to protect you and our staff.
Property Viewings for applicants and current tenants
We understand how important it is for applicants to view a property in person. Committing to a property for the next academic year is a big deal and being shown round a house can give you peace of mind and assurance before securing your new accommodation.
Here’s how viewings will work and how they’ll affect current tenants and applicants.
- Before any in-person viewings, all potential applicants must have watched the video tour and be sure that they have a genuine interest in the property.
- We recommend and you will be invited to come to our office and utilise our new ‘viewing room’, where you can take a seat and have a ‘virtual viewing’ of as many properties as you wish. A member of staff will be on hand to talk you through the properties you’re interested in.
- If you decide that you would like to view a particular property in person, you must nominate one person from your group to view the property on your groups’ behalf.
- Before viewing, the nominated person must have confirmed in writing that they do not have COVID symptoms and are not self-isolating.
- No viewings will take place in any properties where the current tenants have COVID symptoms or are self-isolating or are shielding
- Both the viewer and our member of staff will sanitise their hands before and after the viewing and will be wearing a face covering.
